30 Day Blog Journal: Day 13

Day 13 of my 30 Day Blog Journal is about a fictional book.

When I was in Elementary School I read this book and it was one of my favorites. Then just a couple of years ago they made a movie and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!! I really love the Chronicles of Narnia and how the characters come to life. Its was amazing to me to see characters from a book I love appear on screen and to put a face to the person in my mind.

30 Day Blog Journal: Day 4

Day 4 of my 30 Day Blog Journal is about my favorite book. I would have to say my favorite book yet besides the books in the Twilight Series is The Memory Keeper's Daughter.

The story begins on a winter night in 1964, when a blizzard forces Dr. David Henry to deliver his own twins.

His son, born first, is perfectly healthy, but the doctor immediately recognizes that his daughter has Down syndrome. For motives he tells himself are good, he makes a split-second decision that will haunt all their lives forever. He asks his nurse, Caroline, to take the baby away to an institution. Instead, she disappears into another city to raise the child as her own. Compulsively readable and deeply moving, The Memory Keeper's Daughter is a brilliantly crafted story of parallel lives, familial secrets, and the redemptive power of love.
